Day One-Travel & Beginning

Flying in over the coastline-beautiful, sunny day. A bit of lunch and straight to work,  surveying the lumber and materials. As per usual, we are always sure to safely secure the lumber for the drive out to the worksites…  Watch those speed bumps!  Painting crew getting right to work priming the siding for all of our building projects.  With so many hands this year, we’re making quick work of this. Not to mention, plenty of sturdy(ish) sawhorses.  No crouching on the ground this time!  Shade+Hydration=Success Our building crew converged on a single site to kick things off.. With last week’s mission group getting our concrete footings set, they were able to get eveything ready to lay the flooring tomorrow! Take note of the pink building on the left.  This is the community center building we put up  on last year’s trip.  It’s often used as a space for Holy Mass, community get-togethers and free medical clinics.  One of our goals for this y...

We are assembled and ready at our airport gate, hoping to takeoff before the forecasted snow begins to fly.  Old friendships from previous trips are reconnecting.  New relationships are forming and we’re all anxiously awaiting arrival in Belize, and the chance to get to work.  Deacon John gathered us together for a prayer and blessing over our journey. In that prayer, he asked for the Holy Spirt to guide us to do good work.  As we prepare to board the plane, we ask of all of you to please remember us in your prayers over this next week.  Come, Holy Spirit. Empty us of anything not from You. Fill us up with Your grace, mercy and love. Use us to do Your work. May our words be Your words and all that we do come from You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. AMEN!
It’s that time of year again…   The 2026 Belize Mission Trip is less than month away, and (as of this week) we have a full roster of 25 missionaries! Mark and Cheryl Billman Dcn. John and Deb Specht Tom and Sue Meyer Bob and Katie Lisi Terry and Aimee Hanson Luke and Tabitha Peters Jim Schaff Vance Baker Natasha Deneau Tricia Lasky Ann Williamson Dana Cope Tom Lohman Ann Dierkes Corrina Marolt Perry Middlemist Joe Gregorich Joey Gregorich Carol Cyr As we begin to sort out our donation piles, check off the to-do lists, make our final arrangements and start the packing process, we humbly ask for your prayers. For our preparations. For our travel. For our work and for the families waiting for us at home.  We believe that our work is only possible by God’s will and your help. Thank you all for your prayers and financial support.
